Nuff Said...

This is the photo that says more than I ever could…
In the weeks and months that followed 9/11, there was no way to describe what it was like to be on the air in NYC. The anger and the sadness, the sense of loss, and renewed feelings of patriotism. Daily funerals, mourning, and moments of silence lead to yearly anniversaries, and clean up…ongoing conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan. Memorials, final resting places, hollowed ground and tower designs…Eventually, there were plans for the future, a little healing, the constant pang of heartache, and never forgetting. Always, always, always, with the sound of a siren, or the passing of a firetruck, came the reminder that on our darkest day while everyone was trying to get out, so many bravely went in…not knowing the fate that lie ahead.
This is a powerful picture, from a new moment in our history. The one where we will always remember where we were when we found out that finally, Osama Bin Laden was dead.
