I never thought in a million years I’d be on the air in New York City. What a thrill it has been. From talking to the people who make the music we love to broadcasting live from major events. Oscars, Grammys, live concerts, stadiums, Times, Square, Radio City, music festivals, American Idol, tropical destinations, and the list goes on.
While we begin to figure out what we can share here, and build our digital archives, we do have some moments from our Famous Final Show on PLJ. The emotional goodbye that closed the book on the final chapter of a legendary radio station. You never quite understand how much something means to you, until it’s no longer there. The station, the people, the listeners, the studios high above Madison Square Garden. It was something.
